McDonald's Presents
“Play for Emily”
4th Annual Memorial Golf Benefit
Landfall Country Club Jack Nicklaus Course
Monday September 21, 2009

Emily had a smile that could light up a room. She was a budding little artist who loved to paint and draw. She loved her animals and playing with her big brother Jake. She was daddy's little Tarheel cheerleader and loved to watch her “Heels” play. She was mommy's little sunshine.

Emily Ann Wade, age 5, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006, after a short battle with an inoperable brain tumor. To honor her, we are asking for your support with a golf benefit to support The Ronald McDonald Houses of Chapel Hill and Durham .

Your help will support the needs of many children and their family's battling pediatric cancer across North Carolina and the region.

I was living the American dream with two healthy children, never believing this could happen to me.   I pray you never understand what my wife, son and I have gone through over the last year.   Please help those who are still fighting similar battles.

May God bless you,

Happy Wade
